Terms & Conditions

Reservations

To make a reservation, send us an email using our Contact form. Please include your phone number and the best times to call you. We will get back to you within two business days.

Payments

At this time we only accept payments by personal check, money order or bank transfers.

Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable unless we can find a replacement passenger in a timely fashion. Once the balance is paid, it is non-refundable past June 1st, 2015. Insurable risks may be covered under trip cancellation insurance.

We will not issue partial refunds for any unused trip arrangements – voluntarily missed meals, sightseeing, transport, etc – after the trip has commenced, or any refunds to trip members who do not complete any portion of the itinerary for whatever reason.

Travel & Medical Insurance

Travel Insurance is mandatory as we cannot issue refunds past June 1st, 2015. In case of medical emergency while on the tour, you must have sufficient coverage for medical treatment and/or evacuation.

Fitness & Physical Condition

While there are no really strenuous outings planned, the Romanian castles and fortresses are not always easily accessible by buses so there will be a good number of uphills to manage, as well as going up and down the stairs within the visiting locations. If you have any difficulty walking please let us know before making a reservation.

Dietary Requirements

Every effort will be made to insure healthy balanced meals but we cannot guarantee the availability of special dietary requirements. If you have any such needs, please discuss it with us before making a reservation.

Victor T. Foia’s Attendance

Victor T. Foia, the author of the Dracula Chronicles, is scheduled to attend the tour to act as a tour historian and our Dracula Chronicles guide. However, if a family crisis or other force majeure after June 1st, 2015, causes him to miss the tour, the tour will go on as planned and we will not be held liable for his absence.
