Definitely a highlight of our tour, this is what most people think of as Dracula’s Castle, even though Vlad rarely set foot in it. (He is purported to have spent some time in its dungeons.)
Upon arrival at the base of the castle in mid-afternoon, we visit the bazaar and stroll around the park to take pictures. Then, when the castle is closed to the general public, we walk up for our private tour of the castle.
Following the tour, we can enjoy the views from the castle while sipping our welcoming drinks accompanied by a string quartet recital, before an elegant dinner in the castle’s great hall. A dress up affair, definitely!
